Which complaints or ailments does music therapy treat?

Music therapy can be used for a variety of psychological complaints such as depressive feelings, anxiety and tension complaints, burnout, mourning, relationship problems or a negative self-image.

In my practice I mainly work with adolescents, adults and the elderly. Music therapy helps them to gain more insight into themselves and to make more conscious choices. Adults who have followed music therapy are usually more in touch with their feelings and have more control over them. They dare to let go of old behavioural patterns and deal more easily with difficult situations because they are no longer fighting against that which cannot be changed.
